HDTV shopping?

Looking for a new HDTV, but overwhelmed by all the options? I am in the same boat. I have been looking for a new HDTV for over a year now. Researching over and over whether I want a Plasma Flat Screen, a LCD Flat Screen, or a DLP CRT HDTV. I can say without a doubt that these two sites are lifesavers and exactly what you are looking for.

CNET, is the perfect place to see reviews on most of the HDTV's out there with rankings between 1(low)-10(high).
CNET

AVsforum, is an even more in-depth forum to find out anything you could ever want to know about HDTV's. The forum is full of HDTV "geeks" that are more than willing to answer even your most basic questions.

FRYS.com is a site that has some very good deals on HDTV's from time to time,

Pacman Jones, last straw? Sure.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3197653

Reports out now that Pacman Jones, about to be finished with his year long suspension from the NFL for his previous incidents, has apparently flaunted his true colors again. He reportedly sucker punched a female lawyer in the hallway in yet another strip club.

Overlooking the part of the report that he was in yet another strip club, the same type of establishment that has ruined his life, and the report that he punched a female lawyer. I will even overlook my obvious question of why he was in a strip club negotiating his divorce case. Eventually you just have to come so the sad realization that if you are very athletic, you have it made. Doesn't matter what kind of person you are, how smart you are, or even how hard you work. If you can run a 4.4 40, or dunk a basketball and not fall down running back up the court, or stick a needle in your butt, swing a bat and call it a day then you have a decent chance of being wealthy and can retire early.

Even those who aren't able to make it in the NBA can still go overseas and make millions and tour the world. If you can't make it in the Major Leagues, you can play in an international league and make a very comfortable salary.

These athletes have no incentive to be a good citizen and teammate. You can have multiple arrests and more legal troubles than you can count on one hand and still be given a second chance by a professional league(see blog title). Normal people can go to college for 6-8 extra years beyond high school and struggle to make 60,000 a year while paying back college loans. Can you imagine having over 7 run-ins with the police before you were told to take a leave of absence for a year by your boss?

Maybe you should go outside and run a few 40 yard dashes in between paying for your college loans. Cue Gin Blossoms "Hey Jealousy."

Website Creation

It's still amazing to me how many small companies still don't have a presence on the web. Even just a basic website to give out your menu and location if you are a restaurant, or say printing prices and examples if you are a small printing press.

The facts are that the internet is growing by leaps and bounds each day. More and more potential visitors and customers are joining the www world. Getting your name online can bring countless new potential customers to your business. Even if you are just interested in local customers for now getting a website out with directions, and some information about your business can help you tremendously as you seek a professional look.

Get your name out on the net and add your business to a local yellowpages website and you will be suprised as the new customers from such a simple creation.

CongerTemplates was created in essence to help small businesses grow. CT offers many different Flash Menu's to spruce up a site, and a few different templates if you need to get started from scatch.

$500 will get you an attractive site with multiple pages on the net and help attracting visitors and hosting for a year.

Say you are Mom and Pop's Restaurant and you just want your restaurant's name and a menu as your website, CongerTemplates can create a simple, attractive design and host it on the net for a year for $200.

Maybe you are just looking for a logo for your business, CongerTemplates will work with you until you are completely satisfied with your logo for only $50 dollars.
Example:

Get well, Dick Vitale.

Dick Vitale, college basketball's voice for many decades recently underwent surgery for some legions on his left vocal chord.

Love him, or hate him, you can't deny what enthusiasm and even early recruiting information he brought to college basketball and America over many decades. Yes, with Scout.com, Rivals.com, and other sites, his recruiting information has become obselete. But he's still college basketball(and Duke's) best cheerleader. As a lifelong UNC fan, I know as well as any of Dick's love affair with Duke and coach K, but I have been able to overlook that because of his outside of college basketball work.

Most importantly(to me at least) has been his tireless work and preaching of cancer research. Cancer has gotten it's wicked hands on someone very close to me, and Dick Vitale's constant vocalization of giving to Jimmy V's cancer fund has been a welcome basketball diversion to me. I realize some get annoyed with his constant mentions of the Jimmy V fund, as they view college basketball as a diversion from life's troubles, and I can't disagree there. However, there's no better stage to occasionally bring up the donations to help humanity more than any college basketball game ever could.

Thank you Dickie V for what you have done for college basketball in the past, and what you are doing for cancer research presently. You have my prayers and well wishes for a full recovery.
